The rubber splash guard that seals the top of our garbage disposal with the sink was in rough shape so I decided it was time to replace it.
To replace the Splash Guard you simply need to remove the disposal from the sink and peel the old one off. The new splash guard will then just roll onto the top lip of the disposal. This is a easy Do-It-Yourself job that a appliance repair shop would charge you half the price of a new disposal or more to do.
Why pay someone else to fix it when you can do-it-yourself?
