Here is a service call I see a lot.
The refrigerator is running, but not cooling.
The freezer side of the refrigerator seems to still be working and there was also a noticeable amount of frost built up on the back wall of the freezer.
The frost build up on the back wall of the freezer is a classic sign of a defrost problem.
Once I had the freezer defrosted and the back panel removed I could clearly see that the defrost thermostat was bad.
In the photo you can see the bad thermostat on the left side and the good thermostat on the right side.
