Frigidaire dishwasher with Blinking uo error
ByFrigidaire dishwasher FDB4315LFC0 with a flashing uo error. As soon as the customer started the dishwasher a uo error would come up on the display. So the customer would have to do dishes by hand. With dishpan hands it was time to call for service.

- flashes Er then uo error
uo is a vent not closing error. The vent could be blocked from closing or most likely the vent solenoid has failed . You can hear a audible click noise when the vent cover opens and closes. This vent assembly is located on the top right side way in the back. there is a lock ring inside the dishwasher 1/4 turn to the left and it will release the vent. the newer vents have a separate wire harness that will come with the new vent . The older vent assembly has the harness built into the vent. So you will need the new wire harness with the new vent assembly.

The uo error can also accrue with a control failure not recognizing that the vent is open. the failure of the control is less likely to happen .

In just over a year of Frigidaire D/W ownership, we’ve had THREE uf codes and now this uo code- 4 vent assemblies!!! Is there a better part avail., a better way to extend the life of the part, or is this a completely worthless design? Also, since it looks like I will be going through a bunch of these, is there a cheap place to get the parts? A better brand of dishwasher altogether? That may be my cheapest option at this point!
Thanks
You need to have an inch gap at the top of the dishwasher to let the vent also watch the wires they can get cut in the door hinge…
