I am a nurse and not a technician

This nurse used our forum to learn how to repair there own washer.

OK, I did it. I turned the machine on it’s side and loosed the water pump from the machine’s base by removing 3 5/16″ screws. After removing the two hoses attached with hose clamps, the pump slipped right out and the new one went in just as easily. I replaced the new belts that I ordered and the machine runs perfectly. And to think I was ready to go buy a new machine.
